Carol Ann Cole

Carol Ann Cole is a best-selling author, a professional speaker and founder of a national fund-raiser. To date, her Comfort Heart Initiative has raised over $1.5 million for cancer research with the Canadian Cancer Society.
The author of four non-fiction books and three novels (so far) in the Paradise series, she is currently working on the fourth instalment, Paradise Private Investigator.
   Carol Ann is a cancer survivor, having battled and beaten breast cancer twice. She left her job as a vice president with Bell Canada after her first cancer experience. In 2008 she battled cancer a second time and won that battle, too!
   A Member of the Order of Canada, Carol Ann has also received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals, membership in the elite Maclean's Honour Roll, the Terry Fox Citation of Honour, and the Bell Heroes’ Award. She was one of L’Oreal’s dozen outstanding Canadians celebrating International Women's Day. She is profiled in Canadian Who's Who and in the 2005 edition of 1000 Great Women of the 21st Century.
