Linda brilliantly weaves human experience with nature to create exquisite visual and emotive poetry. There’s a raw honesty in her verses that urges the reader to reflect on the image they present to the world around them.

Linda C Folks (better known online as Ellecee, through her blog ‘apostrophe’). is adept in various forms including free verse, usually in response to online prompts to which she brings her personal vision. Despite variety of form and subject matter, her poems have consistencies, too: well crafted, often beautiful, always thoughtful, they celebrate our human experience, finding the transcendent in what we tend to think of as the ordinary, and do so in deceptively simple, often conversational language.
They draw you in easily, then raise new thoughts and questions, leaving you feeling opened up into someone larger than you were before.
