A young girl has disappeared in Cape Breton, and the family is desperate. The police don't seem to be doing anything, so they look for help elsewhere. Then small details start to fit together into signs that something dark and evil is going on. Police, a private investigator, psychologists and even a priest trained in exorcisms get involved.
