There was a crisp wind and the threat of rain, but nothing could dampen the energy and warmth of spirit at the book launch for Jan Fancy Hull's Where's Home? on August 29.
The event took place outdoors at LaHave River Books, with music, dramatic readings, and question-and-answer with the author. The crowd, practicing appropriate health measures for this era of COVID-19, had a blast, and were reluctant to leave even when the agenda of scheduled events was complete. The bookstore reported a healthy sale of Jan's book, too, so everyone went away happy.
